Irwin® Marples® Irwin Marples Ms500 Protouch All-Purpose Chisel Set, 8 Piece 10507958
The Marples M500 8 Piece Bevel Edge Wood Chisel Set delivers professional-grade woodworking tools designed for carpenters, joiners and serious woodworking enthusiasts. This comprehensive chisel set from IRWIN's Marples MS500 Series features ProTouch™ handles and all-purpose bevel edge blades suitable for a wide range of cutting, paring and mortising tasks. Each chisel is manufactured with one-piece blade forging for exceptional strength and durability, whilst the special tool steel construction ensures a sharper cutting edge for more efficient material removal. The blades undergo a special hardening process that extends edge retention, reducing the frequency of sharpening during extended use. A large metal striking cap on each handle is engineered to withstand repeated mallet or hammer impacts without mushrooming, prolonging tool life in demanding workshop environments. The ProTouch™ ergonomic handles provide superior grip comfort whilst reducing vibration transmission and hand fatigue during prolonged chiselling work. Every chisel arrives honed and sharpened, ready for immediate use straight from the box. The set includes eight essential sizes: 6mm, 10mm, 13mm, 19mm, 25mm, 32mm, 38mm and 50mm (1/4in, 3/8in, 1/2in, 3/4in, 1in, 1.1/4in, 1.1/2in and 2in), covering the most commonly required widths for general carpentry and joinery applications.
